Gale Virtual Reference Library

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office). There are Seventy (70) titles available for the following subjects; Business, Education, Law, Library Science, Literature, Medicine, Nation and World, Social Science and Technology.

ABC Chemistry

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry is a peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing research articles in the broad field of analytical and bioanalytical chemistry. Some of the subjects covered are the development of instruments for mass spectrometry, metallomics, ionics, and the analytical characterization of nano- and biomaterials. The journal was first published in 1862 under the name Fresenius’ Journal of Analytical Chemistry. In 2002 the journal was renamed to Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry.

BioMed Central

BioMed Central is an STM (Science, Technology, Medicine) publisher of 260+ peer-reviewed open access journals. The portfolio of journals spans all areas of biology, biomedicine and medicine and inlcudes broad interest titles, such as BMC Biology and BMC Medicine, alongside specialist journals, such as Retrovirology and BMC Genomics. All original research articles published by BioMed Central are made freely accessible online immediately upon publication.

Health Research and Development Information Network (HERDIN) database is the national health research repository of the Philippines. HERDIN database provides quick and easy access to more than 50,000 citation and bibliographic information from published (Philippine health research journals, conference/convention proceedings, International databases and publications) and unpublished (research institutions research projects and reports, thesis and dissertations) health researches in the country.

NIST Data Gateway

This provides easy access to NIST scientific and technical data. These data cover a broad range of substances and properties from many different scientific disciplines. The Gateway includes links to selected free online NIST databases as well as to information on NIST databases available for purchase. Links are also provided to information on NIST Standard Reference Materials and NIST Calibration Services available for purchase.

Philippine E-lib

It is a collaborative project of the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), University of the Philippines (UP), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
