Accepted Modes and Authorized Venues for Tuition Fee Payments


The following are the modes of payment accepted by Adamson University for tuition fee payments:

A. CASH

  • Transaction can be administered using Peso or US Dollar denominations. Dollar denominations are converted to peso base on the exchange rate of the particular date of payment.

B. COMPANY / PERSONAL / MANAGER'S CHECK

  • Checks must be made payable to Adamson University
  • Post-dated, overstated, and stale checks are not accepted.
  • Checks must be clean with no erasures, alterations, or missing information on its face, regardless of any signature or initials that appear to indicate authorization of the alteration or erasure (Pursuant to PCHC Circular No. 15-460.A)
  • The following information must be written correctly at the back of the check:

    • Name
    • Student Number
    • Course
    • Contact Number
    • Home Address
  • Official receipt of checks dishonored or returned for whatever reason will be cancelled automatically by the Student Accounts Section of the Finance Department.
  • Replacement of dishonored/returned checks shall be in cash or manager's check and shall be paid to the Cashier of the Finance Department only.

C. CREDIT CARD

  • Straight payment with any Mastercard, Visa, JCB, AMEX card is accepted.
  • Double swiping of credit card is not allowed.
  • Cardholder must present a valid identification card for security purposes.

D. DEBIT CARD

  • Payment using ATM via debit to savings account is accepted.

E. PAYMENT THROUGH ACCREDITED BANKS AND BAYAD CENTER BRANCHES

Banco de Oro

Banco de Oro accepts tuition fee payments for both college and Basic Education Department (BED) students. In all transactions, please do not forget to write the 9-digit student number for college students and/or the 8-digit student number for BED students.

1. Over-the-counter payment for non-BDO depositors

  • At any BDO branch, fill out the Payment Slip and write “Adamson University” at the space provided for Company Name.
  • Write down the student number in the space provided for Subscriber’s Account Number.
  • Write down the student’s name in the space provided for Subscriber’s Name.
  • Write the amount of cash or check payment.
  • Get and keep the validated slip for future reference.

2. Internet banking and phone banking for BDO depositors

First, enrol “Adamson University” as biller

  • Access your internet banking account at https://www.mybdo.com.ph
  • Click on the Add Company/Biller icon
  • Fill out the enrolment details
  • Select “Adamson University” as Company Name/Biller
  • Put the student number in the Subscriber’s Number portion
  • Type the student’s name in the Subscriber’s Name portion
  • Type your preferred nickname for this record.
  • Choose the channels or electronic banking services where you prefer to pay your bills/tuition in the future. Check internet banking, phone banking, and/or ATM. Click Submit.
  • Click OK when the confirmation box appears. Your Transaction Reference Number will appear on the acknowledgement page. Payments can then be made after enrolment.

A. To pay your tuition by internet banking:

  1. Log in to your BDO internet banking account
  2. Click on the Pay Bills icon
  3. Fill out the payment details
  4. In the “Pay From” field, choose the BDO account you will use to pay your tuition.
  5. Choose “Adamson University” in the “Pay this Company/Biller” field.
  6. Type the tuition fee amount to be paid.
  7. Check the Subscriber Number and Name
  8. Click Submit. Click OK when the confirmation box appears. Your Transaction Reference Number will appear on the acknowledgement page. This serves as proof that you have successfully paid your tuition. Keep this for future reference.

B. To pay your tuition by phone banking:

  1. Dial 631-8000 to begin your banking transaction
  2. Choose 1 for BDO Philippine Customers
  3. Choose 1 for BDO Phone Banking
  4. Enter your 10-digit Phone Banking Number. Confirm your selection by pressing 1.
  5. Enter your six-digit telephone PIN
  6. Press 2 for Bills Payment
  7. Select the source account you will use for Bills Payment. Confirm your selection by pressing 1.
  8. Select “Adamson University” as biller to pay your tuition fee. Confirm your selection by pressing 1.
  9. Enter the amount you wish to pay.
  10. Your tuition fee payment will then be processed and a Transaction Reference Number will be provided. Take note of this number for reference.

3. Payment via remittance from abroad (BDO Direct Wire Transfer)

Wire transfer-remit your payments to:

  • Name of account: ADAMSON-OZANAM EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, INC. (ADAMSON UNIVERSITY)
  • FAO: Name of Student and Student Number
  • Address: 900 San Marcelino Street, Ermita, Manila, Philippines

*Kindly disclose the name of the student and the 9-digit student number (for college) and 8-digit (for BED) in the Details/Instruction portion of the wire transfer.

Important reminders for BDO payments:

  1. For all payment transactions, particularly for those paying through wire transfer, make sure to write the correct student number to avoid erroneous crediting to the account of the student. For any adjustment or correction, contact the Cash Management Office at (02) 524-2011 local 145 or (02) 559-9380 or email your proof of payment to the Cash Management Office at cashier@adamson.edu.ph.
  2. For easy tracking of the overseas remittance, kindly email a scanned copy of the validated wire transfer slip to cashier@adamson.edu.ph.
  3. Always keep a copy of the validated payment slip, transaction, or wire transfer slip. In case of unrecognized payments by the bank, present the validated slip to the Cash Management Office for verification. Present the slip prior to the scheduled examination period to claim the special permit or to the assigned Computer Lab for enrolment confirmation.
  4. Payment of tuition fees must be done at least one (1) banking day before the scheduled enrolment or examination day.

Philippine National Bank (PNB)

The Philippine National Bank accepts tuition fee payments for both college and Basic Education Department (BED) students. In all transactions, please do not forget to write correctly the 9-digit student number for college students and/or the 8-digit student number for BED students.

1. Over-the-counter payment for non-PNB depositors

  • At any PNB branch, fill out the deposit/bills payment slip and write “Adamson University” as Account/Merchant’s Name.
  • Write down the student number in the space provided for Policy/Plan/Reference Number.
  • Write down the student’s name in the space provided for Policy/Planholder’s Name.
  • Write the amount of cash or check payment.
  • Get and keep the validated slip for future reference.

2. Auto-debit arrangement and internet banking for PNB depositors

  • Auto-debit arrangement: This can only be arranged at the PNB UN Avenue Branch, located at UMC Building, 900 UN Avenue, Ermita, Manila.
  • Paying tuition via Automated Teller Machine (ATM): Payment can be done through any PNB ATM machine nationwide. Simply locate “Adamson University” on the screen under the Bills Payment section and key in the amount to be paid. Get and keep the transaction slip for reference.
  • Paying tuition by internet, phone, or mobile banking: Users must enrol the desired banking facility at any PNB domestic branches or through the PNB website.

3. Payment via remittance from abroad (PNB Direct Wire Transfer)

PlantersBank and Bank of Commerce

Plantersbank and Bank of Commerce accept tuition fee payments for both college and Basic Education Department (BED) students. In all transactions, please do not forget to write correctly the 9-digit student number for college students and/or the 8-digit student number for BED students.

Over-the-counter payment for non-depositors

  1. At any Plantersbank and Bank of Commerce branch, fill out the payment slip and write “Adamson University” in the space provided for Company/Institution Name.
  2. Write down the student number in the space provided for Account Number/Subscriber’s Number.
  3. Write down the student’s name in the space provided for Client’s Name/Cardholder’s/Policy Account Name.
  4. Write the amount of cash or check payment.
  5. Get and keep the validated slip for future reference.

Bank of the Philippine Islands (through BPI Express Online)

Accredited Bayad Center branches

Selected Bayad Center branches accept tuition fee payments for both college and Basic Education Department (BED) students. In all transactions, please do not forget to write correctly the 9-digit student number for college students and/or the 8-digit student number for BED students.

  1. At the above-mentioned Bayad Center branches, fill out the payment slip and write “Adamson University” in the space provided for Biller.
  2. Write down the student number in the space provided for Subscriber’s Account Number.
  3. Write down the student’s name in the space provided for Account Name. Indicate payment type on the upper portion of the form (Tuition Fee, Old Accounts, Miscellaneous).
  4. Write the amount of cash or check payment at the space provided for Amount Due.
  5. Get and keep the validated slip for future reference.

Everyone is encouraged to make their payments at least one (1) day prior to the scheduled due date or date of enrolment. Payments made at Bayad Center branches will be credited to the student’s account one (1) banking day after posting of payment.

Note:

  1. Validation of payment at Adamson University Cashier's Office is done one (1) banking day after making the payment.
  2. Payment slip validated by the bank serves as Official Receipt.
  3. Examination permit must be secured at the Cashier's office two (2) weeks before the scheduled exam.

Only the Cashier of the Finance Department is authorized by the University to receive payments.
